Transform the future for someone like Tania
Tania, from Bangladesh, suffered with leprosy for a long time before she got the treatment she needed. By that point, her legs were so badly affected by the disease that at just 27 years old, Tania has had two below-the-knee amputations.
When Tania felt no-one was looking out for her and no-one could help her, staff at The Leprosy Mission's hospital showed her immense kindness and provided expert care, including a prosthetic leg to help her regain her mobility.
"This hospital feels like my home. Because of the doctors, nurses and staff I am able to return to my family with happiness. I want to live for my children and am not going to give up," Tania told us.
People affected by leprosy like Tania are some of the most marginalised in the world. But today your compassion can help give them hope for the future.
